What is the contest about?

Karma Jigyasa is written and compiled by Sadhvi Yugal Nidhi-Kripa Shreeji , a pair of well acclaimed Sadhvis of Jain religion. They are an outstanding eg. of Yugal i.e ‘two’. Togetherness and understanding, wisdom and intelligence is the landmark of their 'YUGALITY'. The underlying reason for this book to be published is to highlight the importance of Jain philosophy, which is highly microscopic, logical and bhavnatmak-state of feeling and consciousness. It is of a paramount importance to bring home and built in the prevalence of the Doctrine of Karma which is Omni-present, All -pervading, Ever -bonding and Full engulfing.

 

It is the gratitude of Maitri Charitable Foundation towards Sadhvi Yugal Nidhi - Kripa Shreeji to compile and present DUAL OPEN BOOK EXAM(2008-2009) on this distinctive creation Karma Jigyasa, which is based on the Doctrine of karma. 

 

What is the scale of the contest?

The trustees of Maitri Charitable Foundation, Mrs. Nandita Jain, Mrs. Mridu Jain (Delhi), Mrs. Neeta Rastogi(Delhi), Mr. Jayesh Mehta (Banglore), Mr. Nikhil Mehta (Mumbai) motivated and encouraged with the extent and depth of response to hold at advanced level the 5th Open Book Contest on real knowledge.

 

It is an heart felt endeavor of the creators of Karma Jigyasa, to inculcate, imbibe, and doctrinate effectively the norms of Right Faith Right Knowledge Right Conduct deeply and surely.

·         Divine opening: 1-11-2008

·         Last date of submission of registration form : 1-05-2009.

·         Blissful Closing of part (1):  1-05-2009.

·         Blissful Closing of part (2):  26-07-2009.

 

The Choice of this particular book 

·         To heart gel the procedure of Karma bondage to karma liberation with the heartbeat and life lead.

·         To eradicate the false and mythical concepts about Karma and to enable the Jiva to be free from the slavery of the karma.

Correction rules of the contest

·         Part (1)  consists of 100 questions 1 mark for each question.There will be negative marking for every wrong answer. {No half marks are awarded}.

·         Incorrect, incomplete, illegible or spelling mistakes in answers and handwriting will not be awarded any marks.

·         If a wrong answer is written alongside a correct answer, then rule–VE marking shall apply.

·         Part(2)  again is of 100 questions. No negative marking  for a wrong answer shall apply.

·         This part shall be an 'On the Spot Exam' too.

           

Note : The Competition holds the decision of the judge to be final.
